Description Ready to conquer the desert? Only minutes from the hustle
and bustle of the Las Vegas Strip the landscape transforms to
the colorful hills of Red Rock Canyon. Appropriately named for
the bright red rocks contrasting the usually brown and un-welcoming
Mojave Desert.
Enjoy tales of the Southern Nevada history from your expert
Hummer guide. Learn about the first explorers in this area as
we drive past the original Spanish Trail and the historic town
of Blue Diamond - Home to something even more valuable the diamonds
(in the harsh desert) - Can you guess what it is?
Next it's time for some off-road adventure! We'll take to the
desert through areas called Jeep Trap Canyon aptly named as
we find about one Jeep per month broken down here - "The
former of Off-Roading better make way for the Hummer"!
We'll tackle terrain impossible for other vehicles to even attempt,
you'll realize why Hummers meet the strong demands of the U.S.
Military.
Comfort & Safety Sturdy closed toe shoes are recommended (boots or tennis
shoes). We will be in the natural desert and sandals provide
very little protection.
Your professional driver guide will provide informative history
and highlights of the area, while taking you on a thrilling
off-road adventure. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in our
vehicles (State and Federal Law). Tour is not recommended if
you have a bad back, recent operation or if you are pregnant.

Red Rock was beautiful. Wanted to go out and see desert areas. Had entire family and grandfather, this was something we all could do. The back seat is where you want to be to catch air. Overall, had a great time. The driver was great and entertaining.

Good tour, very interesting, friendly guide. Exciting off road drive, all in all, worthwhile and fun.

A good way to see the desert! An entertaining and informative tour guide kept the trip interesting. Had hoped for a bit more of a bumpier ride on the off road section, but none-the-less, a pleasant break away from the hustle bustle of Vegas strip!

The tour guide was a lot of fun and very open to what type of tour we wanted, i.e. fast and rough or slow and scenic. The only thing is that the "off-road" portion was short lived and we spent a lot of time hiking on rocks and scouting the terrain for fossils. Overall it was well worth the time and money, but I do wish the off-road portion was longer.

Nice! Although maybe not as "wild" as the offer says, but, knowledgeable driver/guide and educational trip. Would probably be even better with a bit more driving and a bit less fossil searching, but all in all, absolutely worth the price.

The driver was good. He gave us opportunities to stop where we wanted to take photos - some great views! He was also very informative. The off-road part was great. Thank you.

Excellent time! Tour guide was courteous, well versed and just plain fun! The off-road was the best part, but it could have been a little bit longer. Actual off-road time probably amounted to 1/5 of total trip time. The stories our driver had were the second best part. He kept us constantly entertained, and there was never a dull moment. Overall a great time and nice alternative to the typical Strip.

It was lots of fun. The scenery was fantastic and the driver was excellent. The off-roading could have gone for a bit longer. The view of Vegas from the top of the hill was amazing.
