THIS is the way to go. The self drive tour including the helicopter, boat & lunch was absolutely the only way Id do it. We had the freedome to move at our own pace, stop & go to take in scenery and the trip seemed to go very fast. We were able to dtop at teh Hoover dam on the way back, and made it there by sunset. With the car back in Vegas, we were able to drive up & downthe strip - all the way downtown and took advantage of the freedom. The Grand Canyon and surrounding area is breathtaking and would be a sin if you missed it when in the area. This trip is quite cost effective for the three in our party - when broken down, each element of the trip would add up to more than we spent in the package. JUST DO IT !!

Absolutely awesome...If you are staying in Vegas there is no excuse not to go. You have to drive yourself. Very easy and painless travel. We were skeptical at first but they were a first rate organization from start to finish. We highly recommend this company. We chose the self drive with skywalk and that was more then enough to keep us busy. No busses to wait for or other people slowing you down and ruining your experience!!

Tour was outstanding. Highlight of the trip. Definitely would recommend. Went out on the Skywalk and enjoyed the amazing view. Not scary at all.
The self-drive was well worth it also. We were on our own time while at the Grand Canyon and driving to and from, which allowed us the opportunity to see and do other things off the Las Vegas strip.
Driving on the road to the Grand Canyon was actually kind of run. Was definitely an "off road" adventure.
Only problem encountered was at pick up because the booking listed us as being picked up at our hotel (Palazzo) but the driver was told to pick us up at the Venetian, which we were unaware of. When we picked up our vehicle, the computers were down at Hertz, so all the forms had to be filled out by hand, which cost us some additional time.

We enjoyed self-driving to the West Rim. With a limited amount of days in Vegas, it was wonderful to be able to travel on our own schedule. Our Chevy Traverse was perfect for the trip and the GPS system/folder of information was an excellent asset. The cooler of water was a nice touch as well. We enjoyed the Skywalk and Guano Point. We did not tour the ranch. We spent approximately 3 hours at the West Rim. We found the Hualapai to be gracious hosts! We had done "research" prior to booking this tour so we knew what to expect with both the drive and the experience once at the West Rim.

It was great! Once in a lifetime experience. We are so glad we did it. Our children didnt believe us that we took a helicopter to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. I am glad we recorded it. Thank you for everything.

An amazing and unforgetable experience. Driving the SUV was fun, great scenery, and we get to travel at our own pace. Absolutely loved it!

My husband and I absolutely loved our SUV Rental experience. We would highly recommend this travel option. It was wonderful to be picked up at our hotel and then driven to the car rental site where our journey would begin. The liaison person at the car rental company explained our trip/itinerary very thoroughly and was personable and friendly. It was so nice to be able to drive ourselves and be able to stop along the way when and if we wanted. The car was clean and performed well. The only thing I would suggest is that customers be given an introduction on the dash board workings. My husband couldn't easily find how to turn the lights on or off. We had the front and back windshield wipers going! Too funny!

This says it all “Absolutely Loved It”. The only thing that could have been better was if it was possible to drop the car at the airport at Hertz. We had to walk to the nearest hotel to catch a cab, should work on that.
