I was a bit disappointed by the schedule of the airline that flew us out to the ranch. Because of aircraft issues they had to fly us out early and pick us up later than normal. Aside from that, the tour itself was excellent and well worth the trip. I would recommend it to anyone looking to explore the north rim.

Description
When you want to see the REAL Grand Canyon visit the spectacular
North Rim. Marvel at the spectacular views from the windows
of your climate controlled aircraft. Window seats guaranteed
for everybody.
Soar by Lake Mead & Hoover Dam en route to one of the Seven
Wonders of The World. The mighty Grand Canyon. Fly below the
Canyon rim through to the inner gorge where you'll land down
at a peaceful and secluded airport deep in the Canyon lands.
The fun starts as a REAL cowboy meets you and whisks you off
on a short 10 minute ride on your escape to nature to the Bar
10 Ranch. Enjoy the peacefulness and solitude of a remote working
ranch 60 miles away from the nearest sign of civilization.
Once you've got your bearings it's off to the edge of the inner
gorge of the Grand Canyon North Rim.
Sit back and relax on a picturesque van ride (approximately
40 minutes) and learn about the hundreds of millions of years
of geological erosion that have exposed this 2650-foot-deep
rip in the earth. Hear tales of petroglyphs and cliff dwellings
of Anasazi Indians who inhabited this area thousands of years
as you travel to the Canyon edge.
There's plenty of time at the Canyon edge to view and photograph
remarkable overlooks, rugged lava flows, the Colorado River
and the magnificent Grand Canyon itself. Hear about the colorful
history of ranchers, settlers, and outlaws who inhabited and
hid out in this unforgiving land as we take you on a casual
and informative optional 30 minute hike down into the Canyon. (Don't
forget your comfortable walking shoes, boots or sneakers).
All that fresh air and natural wilderness will leave you hungry
- but not for long. While you're having fun, Mom'll be cookin'
up the finest Dutch Oven western style lunch, ready for your
return to the Ranch. Enjoy a hearty mixin' of Barbecue beef
stew, home cooked potatoes & carrots, fresh salad and bread,
and our favorite, the "gooey" home baked chocolate
chip cookies washed down with mom's coffee. (meal
subject to change - depends what mom's cookin' up for the day)
Your afternoon in the wild west is concluded with your flight
back to Las Vegas and bus transport back to your hotel.
Comfort & Safety
Leave behind the cars, the long lines and the onslaught of rushing
people and escape to solitude and seclusion. There is no experience
in the world that equals the grandeur and history of the Grand
Canyon. Get to know the real cowboys who still call this area
home. Let our cowboys keep you safe and make sure you don't
miss a thing.

When we called The Airplane Operator the day before our tour date, they was unsure whether the tour would operate or not as we were the only ones (5 persons) who had signed up for the tour and they would need at least 6 to operate. We were asked to check in later and when we did that one of their employees had signed up for the tour (dont know if it was just our luch or if he did it for us) but we were very grateful and had a fantastic tour. Great view from the plane and if you travel with larger kid, we can recommend the ATV ride to the rim.

The trip was cancelled. Apparently the company overbooks and cancels a lot. A lot of the local tour providers noted they would be hesitant to use them as it happens so often.
The booking agent was very professional and refunded quickly, and it is worth noting they werent responsible for the actual tour operators cancelling.

Everyone associated with this tour made this experience a day to remember. The guys at the ranch were charming, warm and very knowledgeable. The view of the north rim of the canyon was spectacular - a much different perspective than at the south rim where tourist buses and gift shops interfer with the sublime majesty of the canyon.
The pilots, ground crew and even the shuttle bus driver were very professional and pleasant. My only issue was not knowing about the 6:00 am pickup at the hotel (until the evening before the tour) since it was not clearly expressed on either the booking website or the confirmation printout. In spite of that, the Bar 10 Ranch tour was well worth the early wakeup call...just dont stay up too late gambling in the casinos the night before.
I would highly recommend this tour to everyone!

What a great experience. After flying over the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon we landed at Bar Ten Ranch. Soon after landing we hopped in the ATVs and headed down into the Canyon. Because we had a party of 9 and were therefore the only ones on the tour it seemed as though we had the Canyon to ourselves. After taking in all the sights we headed back to the ranch for a delicious lunch and when we were ready we headed back to Vegas. If you want a unique Canyon experience I highly recommend this tour.

Vision Airs part of the trip was poor, late pick up, confusion at the airport and after the trip more chaos, with no directions given. Luckly someone had been on the tour before and got us in the right place. Once we boarded the plane life was wonderful. The Bar 10 knows how to make an experience wonderful. The pilots were great, the staff at the ranch were so knowledgeable and helpful. I would go again in a heartbeat. They haneled problems so well, I realized that I couldnt control the ATF like I had hoped so I was loaed on a ranger. Our ranger broke down so they called a helicopter (first breakdown of a ranger in five years) to take us to the rim, What an experience. DO IT, DON"T MISS OUT.

This tour we earmarked as a must do. We were not disappointed. The Grand Canyon and parts of Australia's Outback are not that different. We would recommend this trip to anyone going to Las Vegas.

A fantastic day out and well worth the early start. The service from start to finish was brilliant. The Bar 10 staff were great - what a place to live! Prepare to get very dusty and dirty but the sights of the Grand Canyon more than make up for it. An excellent adventure, thank you.
