I’m really glad I did this excursion and I am pretty sure I will do it again, but I have a couple of comments: It is not true (at least that day) that the excursion takes 7-7:30 hours from hotel to hotel...it is more realistic to say 5:30-6 hours. Because of that, you do not have much time to relax to see with the views. Actually, we had to eat really fast because we did not have enough time to enjoy of the Indian Country, and we were lucky to be in the first shift because we did not find any line at all. Finally, you do not fly over the canyon more than a couple of minutes...which is something that I understood (probably my fault). The whole experience was excellent. We definitely got what we paid for. The coach pick up was exactly as you said it was and we were ferried smoothly to Boulder City by a most amiable driver. The procedure at the airport was quick and efficient and after a very short wait we were taken airborne by our pilot and enjoyed a smooth flight and she pointed out all the high points of the journey to the Canyon. It really is THE GRAND CANYON. Our day was most enjoyable and the return journey home was just as good and efficiently carried out, returning us to our hotel on time. Brilliant
experience, so glad we flew instead of going by bus - the flight in
the nine seater plane was fantastic! We went to the ranch for our
lunch, this was a novel and amusing experience, it added to the fun.
The staff there were amazing. The pilot for the plane was great too,
he didn't hurry us and was willing to wait around until we were ready.
Highly recommend this trip, you won't regret it.
